ResponsibilitiesA self-motivated postdoctoral fellow position is available in the lab hosted by Dr. Zuoming Sun, a distinguished professor in T cell immunology at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope. This position is to participate in NIH-funded research on the mechanisms responsible for regulating T cell activation and differentiation.

Expectations

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting experimental approaches involving molecular biology, tissue culture, and mouse models. Postdoctoral fellows are expected to be able to independently conduct research, and collaboration is encouraged.

Requirements

• A Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in biomedical sciences.
• Prior experience and publication records related to T cell research.
• Proficiency in cell culture and mouse models.
• High level of motivation and a career-oriented mindset.
Expertise in flow cytometry and familiarity with mouse models of T cell-mediated pathogenic or protective immunity are advantageous.
SalaryThe salary is between $70,720 – $78,100/year based on experience.
