微生物群落中細菌間的交互作用
在地球上的細菌之間有著各種多樣化的交互作用途徑:他們可能是互利共生的合作關係,也有可能是互相競爭;而這些微生物定殖在地球的每個角落,對各種生態環境系統產生多樣化的影響,包括防範植物根部疾病或是改變人類腸道中的營養吸收率。而這些影響則取決於群集中多個細菌物種之間的相互作用。
當深入瞭解細菌間相互作用的分子機制,不僅能為我們提供預測和操縱微生物群體的新途徑,同時也對環境保護(如生物復育)和人類健康(如人體腸道中的菌相失調)等領域有著重要的應用價值。然而,目前大多數生態系統中對於這些相互作用的知識仍相對缺乏。
因此我們探究了各個細菌物種在生物多樣性環境中的生存機制,使之更好地理解微生物群體中個體細菌是如何在複雜的生態網絡中生存下來並取得優勢地位。透過研究,我們期望能夠解析這些細菌間相交互作用的關鍵機制,為日後發展出更有效的微生物操控策略奠定基礎,並將這些策略應用於改善環境和人類健康等重要領域。
