【Research Focus】

The Lab for Cell Dynamics (LCD) at Academia Sinica explores the biological functions of large-scale cell death during embryonic development, integrating advanced quantitative and imaging techniques. Our recent work (PMID: 38987590) reveals how developmental signals prime cells for death. We invite passionate junior scientists to join our team to investigate: How developmental cues orchestrate cell death during development.

Qualification【Who we are looking for】
We welcome candidates of all academic levels (B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D.) who are:
1.Able to pay attention to experimental details and take faithful experimental notes.
2.Able to learn through literature search and discussion.
3.Able to communicate with an open mind.
4.Motivated to tackle challenging biological questions.

We value interdisciplinary backgrounds—applicants from biology, medicine, physics, or engineering are encouraged. Prior experience in animal models (fly, fish or mouse) or human embryonic stem cells is a bonus, but not required.

SalaryCompensation is based on Academia Sinica’s standards, with adjustments based on qualifications and experience. Research Assistant with Master’s degree: > NTD$ 44968/mo. - Research Assistant with Bachelor’s degree: > NTD$ 38388/mo. -Postdoc:> NTD$64711/mo.
